Our signature distilleries make the world’s best Bourbon. But that’s not all they do. There are holiday programs, special tasting events and even a Bourbon academy. Here’s a list of upcoming events and activities to help plan your trip.

Flavors of Woodford Reserve & Global Cheeses @ Woodford Reserve Distillery

This class at Woodford Reserve Distillery is designed to showcase our wonderful bourbon with different artisan foods that inspire the palate. We are pleased to feature many global cheeses from around the world and to talk about why great cheese pairs so well with great bourbon.

Enjoy an assortment of local and global, artisan cheeses, sweet and savory crackers and wafers and custom mixed Woodford Reserve Cocktails. Discuss cheeses and Woodford and enjoy learning and tasting a great new dimension to the flavor of Woodford Reserve Bourbon. Guests will end their sensory experience with a tour of the Woodford Reserve Distillery to discover the five sources of flavor that makes our bourbon authentic and unique.

Reservations are required and can be made by contacting reservation at (859) 879.1953 or catering@ b-f.com. This event is only for those guests who are 21 years of age or older. A credit card number must be given to secure a reservation. Credit cards will be charged the full amount at 9:00 AM EST on June 5, 2013. Guests can cancel their reservation anytime before that date/time with no penalty, however a refund will not be issued, nor be applied to a future event if you cancel any time after the date and time specified above.

Bourbon Enthusiast Class: Kentucky Bourbon Trail @ Distilled Spirits Epicenter

Chef Ouita Michel opened the Midway School Bakery in the cafeteria of the former Midway High School, built in 1924, in historic Midway. Guests will see staff in the open kitchen create scratch-made doughnuts, cookies, pies, breads and more. Coffee and espresso service are on the menu, including our Bluegrass Mocha with Bourbon Chocolate Sauce. Free wi-fi is available. Bakery shelves are lined with Kentucky products such as Midway Honey, Woodford County’s award-winning Country Rock Sorghum, Wallace Station Bourbon Mustard, Ruth Hunt Candies, Windy Corner Market Pickled Okra, Weisenberger flours and mixes and gift baskets. Wallace Station Deli is housed in a historic country store along scenic Old Frankfort Pike. Opened by Ouita and Chris Michel in 2003, Wallace is known for its jumbo panini sandwiches, burgers, salads, irresistible bakery case and breakfast sandwiches. Visitors will find our own Bourbon Mustard on sandwiches and in jars available for purchase. Desserts include huge homemade cookies, brownies, pies and more. Our Danger Brownie is topped with a Bourbon Bon Bon! Guy Fieri of “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives” said our Big Brown Burger was “one of the Top 5 I’ve ever had!” Just minutes south of I-64 off Exit 65.
