Woodford ReserveThe oldest and smallest distillery in Kentucky traces its origins to 1797 when Elijah Pepper began distilling in Woodford County. This National Landmark crafts Woodford Reserve Distiller’s Select, the Official Bourbon of the Kentucky Derby, along with our new expression Double Oaked. Experience the only copper pot still and triple distillation process used to handcraft Bourbon today.

Monday – Saturday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST Sunday (March – December Only) 12 PM – 4:30 PM EST. Closed on New Year’s Eve and Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

We offer the following tours at our distillery:
The Distillery Tour is a one-hour overview of how we craft Woodford Reserve Distiller’s Select. Tours are offered Monday – Saturday at 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM. On Sundays tours are offered at 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM. Maximum capacity is 30 guests. Reservations can be made at Walk-ins are welcome on a first come, first serve basis. However if you have a group of 18 guests or more, please call our Guest Services line at 859-879-1812 for assistance. Tickets are $14.00 per person for those 21 years of age and older – under 21 is free.

The Corn to Cork Tour is a two-hour session that looks in-depth at the chemical and sensory aspects of making Woodford Reserve Distiller’s Select. This tour is offered Tuesday and Thursdays at 2:30 p.m. Maximum capacity is 6 guests. Reservations are required and can be made online at Tickets are $30.00 per person.

The National Historic Landmark Tour is a two-hour session that delves into the rich history and authentic architecture of our property. This tour is offered Wednesdays at 2:30 p.m. Maximum capacity is 20 guests. Reservations are required and can be made by calling our Guest Services Coordinator at 859-879-1921. Tickets are $30.00 per person.
