In 1986, on a flight home from Japan, Preservation proprietor Marci Palatella sketched the image of an old man on a simple brown paper bag. That drawing would become the inspiration for Very Olde St. Nick, a name that, four decades later, has become synonymous with exceptionally rare, vintage American whiskey.
This fall, Very Olde St. Nick turns 40, and we’re opening the cellar to celebrate!
Join us at Preservation Distillery + Farm for Fall at the Farm, an exclusive 40th Anniversary celebration featuring new expressions to the collection of rare and highly sought-after Very Olde St. Nick, including special releases available to taste and purchase before they are made available to the public.
Hosted by proprietor Marci Palatella and Master of Maturation Kyle Lloyd, guests will spend the day sipping vintage whiskey, discovering the stories behind four decades of Very Olde St. Nick, and getting first access to bottles created to commemorate this milestone year.
Beyond the whiskey, enjoy live music, craft cocktails, and BBQ bites from The Trail Hotel, all set against the fall backdrop of Preservation Distillery + Farm in Bardstown.
Come anytime between 11:00AM and 3:00PM to enjoy the celebration.
