The Nature of our Spirit: Exploring the natural side of Maker’s Mark Distillery

*For this experience, you will need to be able to walk/hike 2+ miles. There will be suggested attire for the experience that will include sensible hiking shoes/boots.
On this experience, you will head out to the far corners of the Maker’s Mark property with our environmental champion, Jason Nally. You will get to see our lake, the water source we use in the creation of Maker’s Mark. Additionally, you will learn about conservation efforts at the Distillery and see various species of trees, plants, and wildlife. You’ll discuss the role the land, grains, and oak play in the Bourbon-making process.
Finish your morning with a Maker’s Mark cocktail and a locally-sourced lunch from Chef Newman Miller at our on-site restaurant, Star Hill Provisions.
All guests MUST utilize KBA-provided transportation to this event from the host hotel.
