World Bourbon Toast™ Giveaway - Official Rules

The World Bourbon Toast™ Giveaway (the “Sweepstakes”) is open only to legal residents of the United States who are at least 21 years of age at the time of entry. Void outside of the United States and where prohibited or restricted by law. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

This Sweepstakes is sponsored by the Kentucky Bourbon Trail®/Kentucky Distillers’ Association (the “Sponsor”), located at 100 Capital Ave, Frankfort, KY 40601, and is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Facebook.

The Sweepstakes begins on September 12, 2025, at 12:00 PM ET and all entries must be received by September 14, 2025, at 6:30 PM ET (“Entry Period”). Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will be disqualified.

During the Entry Period, eligible participants may enter the Sweepstakes in one of three ways:

1. Instagram Method of Entry:

a. Follow @kentuckybourbontrail on Instagram

b. Like the associated Instagram post (in-feed post from September 12, 2025)

c. Leave a comment

i. For a second entry, participants may post a video or image on their Instagram account with #WorldBourbonToast and tag @kentuckybourbontrail.

2. Facebook Method of Entry:

a. Follow @kybourbontrail on Facebook

b. Like the associated Facebook post (in-feed post from September 12, 2025)

c. Leave a comment

i. For a second entry, participants may post a video or image on their Facebook account with #WorldBourbonToast and tag @kybourbontrail.

3. Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE):

a. To enter without using Instagram or Facebook, participants may email their full name and preferred email address to kbtcontent@lewiscommuncations.com with the subject line “World Bourbon Toast™ Giveaway” during the Entry Period. Each email counts as one (1) entry.

Entry Limit: Maximum of two (2) total entries per person, regardless of method of entry. Entries beyond the limit will be disqualified.

Important: Entries received through Instagram, Facebook, or using the AMOE method carry equal weight, and choosing one method over the other does not influence the chances of winning. 

Entries must be received during the Entry Period to be valid. Incomplete or late entries will be disqualified. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Any personal information collected will be used solely for the administration of the Sweepstakes and will not be shared or sold to third parties.

By entering this Sweepstakes, you agree to abide by these Official Rules and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements.

Limit one prize bundle per person. All prizes are non-transferable and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash or credit, except at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize or portion thereof of equal or greater value if the advertised prize is unavailable for any reason. 

All prize details are at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor to use the winner’s name, likeness, and submitted content for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further compensation or notice, unless prohibited by law. 

Some prizes include distillery experiences in Kentucky. The winners of those prizes and any guests who accompany the winners (if applicable, based on number of tickets in the prize bundle) must be 21 or older. Alcohol may be served or offered during the distillery experiences. The Sponsor does not promote or encourage excessive consumption of alcohol. Alcohol will not be provided directly by the Sponsor. The winners and guests must comply with all venue rules and local laws regarding alcohol consumption, including providing valid ID upon request. The Sponsor and its partners assume no liability for any damages, injuries, or losses resulting from the consumption of alcohol at any event.

The winners are responsible for any expenses not explicitly stated as part of the prize packages, including but not limited to meals, accommodations, personal expenses, and transportation to and from Kentucky. All federal, state, and local taxes associated with the receipt or use of the prizes are solely the responsibility of the winner. 

If a winner of the Sweepstakes is unable or unwilling to meet any of the requirements associated with the prize, the prize may be forfeited at the discretion of the Sponsor. In such an event, the Sponsor reserves the right to select an alternate winner.

Winners will be selected in random drawings held periodically between 9:55 am and 6:35 pm (ET) on September 14, 2025, from among all eligible entries received as of the time of each drawing. Entries received after the time of a drawing will be eligible for subsequent drawings only. The deadline to enter is 6:30 pm (ET) on September 14, 2025. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received at the time of each drawing. Limit one prize bundle per person. A total of 15 prizes will be awarded, and there will be a total of 15 winners. Prizes will be assigned in the order the winners are drawn. The first winner drawn will receive “Prize Bundle 1”, the second winner drawn will receive “Prize Bundle 2,” and so on until all available prizes are awarded.

The winners will be selected at random and notified via direct message on Instagram by the @kentuckybourbontrail Instagram account or @kybourbontrail Facebook account within 7 days of the Sweepstakes end date. If a winner’s Instagram or Facebook handle is unknown, the winner will be notified by email from kbtcontent@lewiscommuncations.com within 7 days of the Sweepstakes end date. If a potential winner does not respond within 48 hours, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. If a potential winner declines the prize, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. Sponsor is not responsible for messages or other content that is filtered out or not received due to privacy settings.

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsors, its affiliates, any event or hotel partners, agents, advertising and promotion agencies, Instagram, Facebook, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and representatives from any liability, injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in this Sweepstakes or acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.

Except where prohibited, participants agree that any disputes, claims, or causes of action arising out of or relating to this Sweepstakes shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate state or federal court located in Franklin County, Kentucky. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Kentucky.
