Larrikin (n.) Australian slang. A person who disregards convention; a maverick. Larrikinism was a reaction to rules imposed by British officials on the young country of Australia. Their whiskey reflects this bold spirit of good-natured irreverence, and relies on character, not ceremony. It’s a story that could only be written in America, and only possible in Kentucky. Greg Keeley, a Navy combat veteran, launched LBC in January 2023 with a concept – to blend Bourbon tradition with Australian affability, to offer bloody good Bourbon and inimitable experiences in an engaging, yet laid back environment. At Larrikin, their focus is dead simple: craft extraordinary, novel whiskies that bring a bit of Aussie cheek to Kentucky’s Bourbon heritage.
Larrikin Bourbon Co. is craft distillery with an honest approach to making bloody good Bourbon. The founder, LCDR Greg Keeley, USN (ret), is a Combat-Disabled Navy Veteran, with the unique honor of commissioned service in both the U.S. Navy and the Royal Australian Navy, with combat roles in Iraq & Afghanistan.
Ingredients
2 ounces Larrikin Decade 100% Rye Whiskey
1 barspoon Larrikin Bourbon Barrel Maple Syrup
2 dashes Orange Bitters
1 Orange Peel to garnish
Instructions/Notes
Combine maple syrup and bitters in a mixing glass. Fill the mixing glass with ice, add Larrikin Decade Rye, and stir until well-chilled. Strain into a rocks glass over one large ice cube. Twist the orange peel over the drink’s surface to express the orange oils, then garnish with the peel.

Larrikin was born as Lawrenceburg Bourbon – until the founders realized they had forgotten an important lesson, learned from years of overseas service: You are defined by who you are, not where you are – and they are unquestionably Larrikins!
Putting our grown-up hats on, we do encourage bookings. That being said, we know plans change – we are larrikins after all! So rest assured, walk-in guests are always welcome, and we pinky-promise that you will leave with memories and new mates.
Being larrikins, we kinda do things a tad different. We focus on experiences. No promo videos, no headsets, no timelines. Cigar and whiskey pairings, cocktail classes, thieve your own bottle, pick your own personal barrel or simply pull up a seat at the bar and enjoy a cocktail or two.
