Dueling Grounds Distillery is a small craft Bourbon Distillery located in Franklin-Simpson County, Kentucky. Bourbon Starts Here. If you're coming north into Kentucky on I-65, they might be your first stop on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail®. They are proud makers of award winning Linkumpinch Bourbon and other fine craft spirits.
The handcrafted batches of Linkumpinch Bourbon are double-pot distilled and aged in charred oak barrels, and embody grains of the region. The distillery is the first of its kind in the area since Prohibition.'
Ingredients
1 1/2 ounces Linkumpinch Bourbon
1 ounce Pomegranate Juice
1/2 ounce Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
1/2 ounce Agave Syrup
Sugar for rim
Instructions/Notes
Add the Bourbon, pomegranate juice, lemon juice and agave to a mixing glass with ice. Shake and strain into sugar rimmed coupe glass.
All distilleries offer a tasting at the end of their standard tour. Some offer tasting-only experiences as well. But remember, slow down, savor your experiences and drink responsibly.
Under Kentucky law, visitors can purchase up to 9 liters per customer, per day at distillery gift shops. Options to ship product back to your home may be available. Please consult with each distillery and know that your state laws might prohibit shipping.
While each distillery tour is unique, plan on spending at least an hour and a half at each to tour, taste, and visit the gift shop. Many distilleries offer extended and abbreviated tours in addition to a standard one hour tour. While there are no admission fees to visit your favorite distilleries, all distilleries charge a fee for their tours. Some distilleries have abbreviated or extended specialty tours that vary in cost.
