Founded in 2008 in a historic distillery barreling house, Barrel House Distilling Co. utilizes two classic pot stills to distill premium Kentucky Bourbon and other spirits. Located in a revitalized barreling house in Lexington’s historic Distillery District, they strive to continue the tradition of the old Kentucky distillers by producing fine spirits made with traditional methods.

Ingredients
2 ounces Barrel House Select Bourbon
1/2 ounce Lemon Juice
1/2 ounce Bordeaux Cherry Syrup
1/2 ounce Simple Syrup
Float of Pinot Noir
Instructions/Notes
In mixing glass, muddle cherry syrup, lemon juice and simple syrup. Add Barrel House Select Bourbon. Shake and pour over ice in large rocks glass. Float with Pinot Noir.

Under Kentucky law, visitors can purchase up to 9 liters per customer, per day at distillery gift shops. Options to ship product back to your home may be available. Please consult with each distillery and know that your state laws might prohibit shipping.
While each distillery tour is unique, plan on spending at least an hour and a half at each to tour, taste, and visit the gift shop. Many distilleries offer extended and abbreviated tours in addition to a standard one hour tour. While there are no admission fees to visit your favorite distilleries, all distilleries charge a fee for their tours. Some distilleries have abbreviated or extended specialty tours that vary in cost.
