Join us for our next installment of Bourbon Sessions at the Ripy Mansion. The speaker for February will be Stephen Beam, 7th generation master distiller and co-owner of Limestone Branch Distillery. Limestone Branch Distillery was founded in 2010 by brothers Steve and Paul Beam, whose ancestral roots run deep in the bourbon industry – on both sides of their family – making them seventh generation distillers. Their great-great grandfather was Joseph Washington Dant, an early bourbon pioneer. And their great grandfather was Minor Case Beam, the eldest son of Joseph M. Beam, of the legendary Beam lineage. Using recipes – some of them plucked from their grandfather Guy’s notebook – and family knowledge gleaned from the previous generations of master distillers that came before them, Steve and Paul now distill their own first-class products. And always, clues about who they are and where they came from are buried in the names and tastes of their products. And they are where they are – near Lebanon, KY – for a reason. As always there will be a tour of the mansion and sampling of Limestone Branch products.
