Over the course of 2018, the Kentucky Bourbon Trail® will be expanding with several new stops across the Commonwealth–and O.Z. Tyler Distillery in Owensboro will be first out of the gate.

With its debut scheduled for June 1st, O.Z. Tyler will be the 11th stop on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail® adventure. O.Z. Tyler’s Distillery’s experience will bring visitors behind the scenes of their amazing restoration of the Old Medley Distillery and educate them on their proprietary aging process.

Guests will have the opportunity to tour the historic property and its brick aging warehouses while also seeing how they artfully incorporated their state-of-the-art distilling equipment into such a legendary Bourbon site that has been making whiskey since 1805.  Owensboro and Daviess County both have a rich Bourbon tradition because of their location along key rail lines and waterways, tremendous limestone water source, extensive oak forests, and because local farmers have always produced a great deal of corn.

And of course, don’t forget the tastings of their Kentucky Bourbon at the end of your tour.

So mark your calendars for a trip to the great river town of Owensboro and our newest addition, O.Z. Tyler Distillery.
