Peerless will offer a behind-the-scenes tour and tasting with family ownership in attendance, along with Master Distiller Caleb Kilburn. The tasting will include samples from the rye single barrel selection the day before. Guests will receive a bottle of the Single Barrel Selection with the purchase of their ticket. Heavy appetizers will be served from Madeleine Dee, founder and chef at Fond restaurant in Crescent Hill. Dee personally prepares six to nine course dinners for up to 12 people on only Friday and Saturday nights. Fond is described by many as a French and Mediterranean fusion, but Dee will tell you it’s a personality turned into business.
