Deeply rooted in Stitzel-Weller Distillery history, the meaning of the five keys will be shared with guests during an intimate evening in the atrium of the Visitors Center.
Hosted by National Whiskey Ambassador Doug Kragel, guests will be fully immersed in the story of Blade and Bow Kentucky Straight Bourbon. After walking the grounds on a historic tour, guests are welcomed into the atrium to be seated for dinner. Doug will discuss the unique solera preservation method used in the aging process, and lead the group in a formal tasting of Blade and Bow, as well as the rare Blade and Bow 22 year old – the winner of Double Gold and Best Kentucky Straight Bourbon at the 2015 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, as well as Best Bourbon over 10 Years from 2017 Jim Murray’s Whiskey Bible. Cocktails will be created by our in-house mixologist Greg Hojnocki, and dinner served by Wiltshire Pantry.
