Wilderness Trail Distillery, located on 163 acres in Danville, KY, is a family-owned business that began in 2012. Co-owners Shane Baker and Pat Heist use their love of whiskey and 28+ years of fermentation expertise to make some of the Kentucky’s Finest Bourbon Whiskey. Wilderness Trail prides itself on locally-sourced grains, its sweet mash process, low-barrel proof entry and non-chill-filtered whiskeys. They focus on the science behind Bourbon making and enjoy sharing their knowledge with Bourbon Trail visitors.
