WHAT: Get a spirited start to the holidays with the inaugural Bookstock event at Copper & Kings Dec. 6-7. Together with Louisville Tourism and Carmichael’s Bookstore, Bookstock will host best-selling spirit & cocktail authors like Jim Meehan, Robert Simonson, Kara Newman and David Wondrich for two days of spirited conversations, book signings and sales, and — of course — cocktails. It’s the perfect opportunity to pick up a personalized book for the spirits enthusiast on your holiday list.
WHEN: Friday’s author salon and spirited conversations are from 6 to 10 p.m. with a $15 cover charge that includes a free cocktail (tickets here); doors open at 5:30 p.m. Saturday is free to attend from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with author meet-and-greets, a book fair and additional author discussions.
