Toasted Maple Old Fashioned
Ingredients
2 ounces Bluegrass Distillers Toasted Oak Bourbon
3–4 dashes of Aromatic or Walnut Bitters
1/2 teaspoon Maple Syrup (preferably Barrel-Aged Maple Syrup)
Orange Peel
Ice
Maraschino Cherry (Optional)
Instructions/Notes
Cut a two to three inch long piece of orange peel. Run the pulp side around the rim of the cocktail glass, then set peel aside for later. Add bourbon, bitters, and maple syrup to glass and stir to combine. Add ice, stir to chill. Twist orange peel over the glass to release its oils, and add it to the drink. Add maraschino cherry (optional) to sweeten the drink up a bit.
