In 2014, Castle & Key began the restoration of the historic Old Taylor Distillery. Today, they continue the inspiring spirit that Colonel Taylor established in 1887 with their shared vision of producing terrific Bourbon and being the focal point of Bourbon hospitality. Their restoration of this legendary Castle and Bourbon icon enables them to create captivating spirits and endearing memories. Castle & Key crafts their spirits with carefully selected grains and a unique barrel regimen to thoughtfully produce distinct spirits to their exacting standards. Castle & Key’s team of like-minded people have revived the spirit and grounds of the Castle – the birthplace of Bourbon hospitality. One trip to Four Roses’ historic distillery on the scenic Salt River or to their Warehouse & Bottling Facility nestled in the quiet countryside at Cox’s Creek, and you’ll begin to understand how their Bourbon has come to be so mellow. Of course, being able to sample a taste of their award-winning Bourbons makes a trip all that more rewarding. Enjoy a walking tour of the distillery and grounds, or their bottling facility and warehouses, explore the distillation process and conclude your experience with a guided tasting of award-winning Bourbons. The Jimmy Russell Wild Turkey Experience invites Bourbon fans into the Wild Turkey family through tours & tastings, three new indoor & outdoor bars and a retail experience, bringing to life over a century of Bourbon-making tradition. In the “Generations Lounge”, guests can enjoy signature Wild Turkey cocktails prepared by an expert bar team while enjoying breathtaking views of the Kentucky river. Guests can also enjoy the Russell’s Reserve connoisseur whiskey tasting, which explores the magic that unfolds within the rickhouses through the highly awarded Russell's Reserve lineup.

The art of making fine whiskey first took place on the site of the Woodford Reserve Distillery, a National Historic Landmark, in 1812. It is now home of innovative whiskeys, under the guidance of Master Distiller Elizabeth McCall and Master Distiller Emeritus Chris Morris. Elizabeth and Chris have been integral in driving innovation and shaping the story of Woodford Reserve, sharing the belief that the keys to making the World’s Finest Bourbon are not only time and patience, but science and art.

Founded in 2012, Bluegrass Distillers has refined its craft by blending traditional bourbon-making techniques with innovative mash bills, distinct distillation methods, and advanced barrel finishing. The expansion to Elkwood Farm – a historic 62-acre estate in Midway, KY – marks a key milestone, adding a full “seed-to-glass” operation with a 36-inch column still, expanded bottling, and multiple barrel warehouses. Bluegrass Distillers at Elkwood Farm also offers an immersive visitor experience, inviting guests to tour the farm, explore unique production methods, enjoy tastings of their award-winning bourbons and ryes, and participate in a Bottle-Your-Own experience.
