Sherrie Moore from the Uncle Nearest Distillery in Shelbyville, Tennessee will lead the July 15 Bourbon Session at the historic Ripy House in Lawrenceburg. Sherrie worked alongside descendants of Nearest Green, the first known African-American distiller for whom the distillery is named. She is also the first woman to oversee operations at a major whiskey brand - Jack Daniels and now Uncle Nearest.
