You’re coming to Kentucky for Bourbon – hooray! We know you’re excited about visiting your favorite distilleries on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, but did you know that there is sooo much more to see, do and taste? If you’re a proud passport-holding, stamp-getting, note-taking fiend like us, then we have good news for you. Here are some other Bourbon-centric passport programs that we love, and we know you will too.

As you’re planning, keep in mind that these experiences are very popular, so make sure to book your distillery tours and dinner reservations in advance. We don’t you to miss out on anything fun you want to see.

BOURBON TRAIL™ PASSPORT & FIELD GUIDE

You know us! 22 years after the birth of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, the passport took on a major overhaul turning it into a 160+ page book featuring our 18 KBT distillery experiences, cocktail recipes, insider tips, travel planning information, tasting notes and fun facts.

But that’s not all that’s new. We’ve combined forces with the Kentucky Bourbon Trail Craft Tour, so all of their 23 distilleries are also included in one beautiful book. If you haven’t made it out on the Craft Tour yet, make plans today! This adventure is broken up into four easy regions, and you get some fun swag upon completion of each.

You may pick up your Bourbon Trail™ Passport & Field Guide at the first distillery you visit, or buy one in advance.

NORTHERN KENTUCKY

Northern Kentucky – or NKY as the locals call it – is quite literally where the South begins! You’ll notice a mixture of north and south from German fusion in their culinary and brewing heritage, and their penchant for good ‘ol Southern fried chicken and whiskey.

NKY has played an important role in the movement and production of whiskey throughout our country’s history. Today visitors can explore the booming craft distillery scene, shop at Newport on the Levee, and enjoy a delicious meal and cocktails at any of their top-notch establishments. NKY is also a great place to start your Kentucky Bourbon Trail Craft Tour® passport with 5 distilleries within an easy drive of each other. While you’re at it, drop in to at least 2 distilleries, 2 bars and 2 restaurants listed on your B-Line passport to complete your NKY Bourbon experience and #FindYourSippingPoint.

You may pick up your B-Line passport at any participating establishment.
