Circa 1856 Old Fashioned

Ingredients

2 ounces Chicken Cock Straight Rye Whiskey

6 dashes Saline

2 dashes Scrappy’s Orange Bitters

4 dashes Scrappy’s Aromatic Bitters

1/2 ounces Demerara Syrup

 

Instructions/Notes

Add ingredients to mixing glass and top with ice. Stir approx. 40 times until chilled and diluted. Strain into rocks glass over large ice cube. Add raw sugar to orange moon and torch until brûléed. Add as garnish.
