Preservation Distillery, a 40-acre historic tobacco farm is aging some of Kentucky’s most prized vintage barrels. This pot-distilling craft producer
is family-owned, with many passionate decades in the Bourbon industry. Preservation is Kentucky’s first sustainability-focused distillery, raising Bluegrass Longhorn cattle and insisting on their farm’s limestone water source, and the highest quality local ingredients. Brands include: Very Olde St. Nick, Pure Antique, Rare Perfection, and Wattie Boone.

Longhorn Sour

Ingredients

2 ounces Wattie Boone Whiskey

1/2 ounce Agave or other nectar

5-6 Bruised Mint Leaves

1/2 ounce Fresh Lemon Juice

Lemon Wheel and Mint Sprig to garnish

 

Instructions/Notes

Shake all ingredients with ice. Strain into rocks glass over ice. Garnish with lemon wheel and fresh mint sprig.
